Where I am at right now

My name is Alex.  I am 26 years old and I live in South Korea capitulating young minds.  I work on contract here and spend my off time traveling or planning a backpacking trip.  I will be leaving here in March to go to India and South East Asia before settling somewhere new that will employ me.

I have spent a brief time as a delivery driver, waiter, childcare technician, courtesy clerk, concert promoter, warehouse supervisor, secretary, singer, journalist, poet, writing tutor, master of ceremonies, soccer coach, water carrier, ditch digger, shit mover, basketball coach, and chess teacher from what I remember off the top of my head.

I have been on 4 continents some more than a few times in the last 3 years.  In that time I have taught english, math, and science, fought a Russian military officer, eaten every part of a sheep, and much of a scorpion, dog, horse, and silkworm, seen a man made structure older than stonehenge, climbed a mountain for 7 straight hours, rode the world’s tallest fastest and most looped roller coasters, saw Judas Priest, been drunk with the young and old of many asian countries, fed and washed the clothes of hundreds of orphans, seen a million dollar firework show, slept in a Russian church, and rocked a Moroccan kasbah.

Hopefully this time next year I am making a buttload of cash in Australia then making my way back to Indonesia for some diving instruction.  Then I am off to learn more from a “higher institution”.
